EduQuality Global EduQuality Awards

Honoring schools most dedicated to advancing high-quality education and making a lasting impact in their communities

The Opportunity International Global EduQuality Awards program recognizes schools dedicated to advancing high-quality education. The awards celebrate schools across Opportunity EduFinance partner countries, regardless of their size or available resources. These awards are given to schools that demonstrate excellence in overcoming barriers, fostering innovative solutions, and engaging both teachers and the wider community.

The Awards & Prizes 

The EduQuality Awards consist of several categories, with global and regional recognitions:

Regional Categories

  • Change Maker in Education: Recognizes schools driving transformative change in education.
  • Community Leader: Celebrates schools improving educational opportunities within their local communities.
  • Innovator Award: Honors schools introducing creative ideas and technology to enhance learning.

Nominate a School 

Schools in the EduQuality program can be nominated by teachers, education specialists, or community leaders who recognize their efforts to promote high-quality education. Nominations are based on the following criteria:

Who can nominate: Open to all within the education sector, including parents, teachers, and partner organizations.

Nomination Process: Submit a detailed form outlining the school’s achievements and alignment with the award's objectives.

Please note - only schools in the EduQuality program are eligible to be nominated. 

What Are We Looking For?  

To be eligible for the EduQuality Awards, schools must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a part of the Opportunity EduFinance program.
  • Demonstrated commitment to improving educational outcomes.
  • Active engagement with the community and local stakeholders.
  • Focus on measurable impact, such as improvements in infrastructure, teacher development, or student performance.
