• Dr Aisha Asi Akrofi, Chief Executive Officer, Prima Academy (Ghana)

Dr. Aisha Asi Akrofi is an experienced education leader and the Chief Executive Officer of Prima Academy in Accra, Ghana. She brings strong practitioner insight in school leadership, institutional sustainability, and education financing.

She also serves as the Greater Accra Regional Chairperson of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS), where she actively engages policymakers and key stakeholders on issues of access, quality assurance, and the development of private education.

Dr. Akrofi holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Cape Coast and a Master’s degree in Governance and Leadership from GIMPA.

• Richard Amuzu, Technical Assistance Advisor, Opportunity Edufinance (Ghana)

Richard Amuzu is a Technical Assistance Advisor with Opportunity EduFinance in Ghana. Prior to starting this role, he worked for RIMCS and Opportunity International as a Project Co-ordinator on TVET research.

He continues his work as a Project Co-ordinator and Financial Literacy Expert for the World Bank and the Ministry of Finance in Ghana.

He holds a Diploma in Management from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a PGC in Marketing (CIM-UK) from UPSA, a BSc in Marketing from the University of Education, Winneba, and an MBA in Finance from Sikkim Manipal University, India.

• Dr. George Muteekanga, Commissioner of Private Schools and Institutions, Ministry of Education and Sports, MoES (Uganda).

Dr. Muteekanga George is a seasoned Ugandan education leader whose 36 year career spans classroom teaching, university lecturing, city-wide administration, national policy leadership, and education innovation.

He began as a dedicated Grade V teacher in 1988, later mentoring future educators and contributing to academic research.

His administrative career included 12 years improving education services for Kampala and over a decade shaping national policy at the Ministry of Education, impacting millions of learners. 

He earned major national honors and held key roles linking education with agriculture, technology, and national development.

In 2024, he founded the Senior Educators’ Initiative and Innovators Foundation (SEIIFU), where he leads programs on school sustainability, renewable energy, WASH, leadership training, and digital learning.

He has trained over 1,000 educators and secured funding for critical education projects. With advanced academic qualifications and deep experience from the classroom to the Cabinet level, Dr. Muteekanga offers a unique blend of policy insight, practical expertise, and visionary leadership. His work continues to advance education transformation in Uganda by promoting sustainable finance, innovation, and community-centered development.

• Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma, President, National Independent Schools Alliance (India).

Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma is an activist with expertise in developing solutions for private schools in India, particularly affordable private schools. His knowledge and expertise provide solutions to the most pressing issues of the time, such as education and governance.  
 
Dr Kulbhushan Sharma is the President of NISA – National Independent Schools Alliance, the national federation of associations of low-cost private schools that cater to 1 LAKH Affordable Private Schools across the length and breadth of the country.  
 
He has extensive experience leading advocacy and quality-improvement initiatives. He has spent 10 days in judicial custody and 3 days on a hunger strike, challenging government laws that restrict the education space in India. Successfully led the largest mass demonstration at the historical Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi in April 2017, which brought together 65000 private educators for the first time in India's history.  
 
Dr Kulbhushan Sharma is a graduate in Commerce and has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy by Theological University, Chennai, in recognition of his contribution to education and to one's life experiences. He participated in the international workshop on Education in Crisis – a liberal way forward held between 5 and 17 November 2017, organized by the International Academy for Leadership (IAF) in Gummersbach, Germany.
 
Director, SBBM Middle School, Ambala Cantt, Haryana, started the school in 1990, and the budget private school is still serving the low-income group for children of the neighborhood. He also plays a vital role in several State and National bodies, which contribute to the field of education.
