Briseida Hoxha is the Data and Business Intelligence Manager for Opportunity International EduFinance, based in London.
Briseida works within the EduFinance Data and Business Intelligence team, supporting the management and development of databases and analytical tools to generate insights to help steer our strategy, maintain high data quality, and support our financial institution partners with portfolio analysis.

Before joining the team, Briseida spent more than 4 years in the automotive industry at General Motors Financial, serving as both a Business Development Analyst and a Pricing and Reporting Analyst. She used data analysis to support the launch of new products and services, develop and enact competitive pricing strategies, and build and maintain a reporting package.


Briseida received her BA in Banking, Insurance, and Financial Markets and her MA in Finance and Insurance, both from La Sapienza University in Rome.

  • Robert Alhadeff, CEO and Co-Founder, Jackfruit Finance

Robert Alhadeff is the CEO and Founder of Jackfruit Finance, a specialist education finance network providing lending and investment to affordable private schools across East Africa.

Over the past five years, Jackfruit has scaled to support 840+ schools across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, impacting over 250,000+ students and 10,900+ teachers. A defining feature of Jackfruit's approach is its data-driven credit methodology, using proprietary technology to digitise schools and feed that data into AI-powered models that draw on 350+ data points per school to assess creditworthiness and manage portfolio risk, as well as to dig into school quality metrics. 

Robert brings hands-on experience using business intelligence to drive education finance decisions — from proprietary school-scoring tools to portfolio segmentation and impact measurement. Jackfruit has expanded across the region through key institutional partnerships, including with FINCA in Uganda and Tanzania.

Prior to founding Jackfruit, Robert managed international expansion for a PayGo Solar company, consulted for social enterprises across East Africa, and led credit risk teams in London. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Durham University.

  • Sikander Azam Khan, Head of Operations and Business Development, Kashf Foundation.

Sikander Azam Khan is the Head of Operations & Business Development at Kashf Foundation, one of Pakistan’s leading microfinance institutions focused on financial inclusion. 
Kashf Foundation was established in 1996 to expand financial inclusion and economic opportunity for low-income households, particularly women entrepreneurs. Today, Kashf serves over one million clients through a nationwide network of more than 500 branches, with a portfolio that is almost evenly split between urban and rural markets.
 
The organization employs over 5,000 staff and is among the few institutions in the sector with nearly 50% female representation across all levels from field officers to the Management Committee. Kashf has been a sector innovator, including being the first institution in Pakistan to introduce education finance and capacity-building for low-cost private schools, while also pioneering micro-health insurance, micro-pension schemes, and digital client onboarding.

With more than 20 years of international experience across microfinance, banking, consulting, and telecommunications in Pakistan, Bahrain, and Australia, Sikander has led large-scale operational networks and product innovation initiatives. His work focuses on expanding access to financial services for underserved communities, including initiatives supporting education financing and women’s economic empowerment.
