This Key Insight examines how the School Leadership Academy (SLA) is influencing schools’ readiness and interest in accessing finance in India. Drawing on data from 13 workshops across six states, it highlights a significant increase in schools’ intention to borrow, their financing priorities, early engagement with financial institutions, and the barriers that remain to turning borrowing intentions into actual loans.
