Webinar: Ideagen Global Innovation 2030 Digital Summit
On June 4, 2020 Opportunity EduFinance joined Ideagen’s Global Innovation online summit along with a range of other fascinating speakers from across the sector. Atul Tandon, CEO of Opportunity International US and Renée McAlpin, EduQuality Manager for Opportunity EduFinance, shared during a power chat as part of the summit.
They spoke about the ways the EduFinance programme is working to bring quality education to the door of so many children around the world. To date, 6.5 million children have already benefitted from these programmes, while there are still 263 million children globally who should be in school.
Renée passionately shared her perspective on why education is the backbone to lifelong success and developing opportunity for everyone, and talked through her journey from joining the Peace Corps to growing the EduQuality programme. They ended the discussion by outlining what is needed for the future.
