NSDC Partnership Launch

On the 20th July, Opportunity EduFinance and National Skill Development Corporation hosted an event on 'Unlocking Barriers to Skilling: TVET Financing in India.'

They discussed ways of making skilling accessible through affordable fee financing for students enrolled in skilling courses. Ved Mani Tiwari, COO and officiating CEO of NSDC spoke about the different types of financial and non-financial support NSDC is providing through NBFCs and NBFC-MFIs to make education loans available in the skilling segment.

Mathieu Fourn, Technical Assistance Director, and Sakshi Sodhi, Technical Assistance Advisor, represented Opportunity EduFinance.
The event was also attended by representatives from four financial institutions – Avanse Financial Services Ltd., Auxilo Finserve Private Limited, SATYA MicroCapital Limited and Varthana.
