During European Microfinance Week 2019 Opportunity EduFinance Technical Assistance Advisor, Hannah Hilali, presented during the session 'Financing access to education, how to make it work'.

The session was a follow up to the European Microfinance Award 2016 “Microfinance and Access to Education”. Hannah presented alongside Roshaneh Zafar, founder and managing director of Kashf Foundation (Pakistan) - our partner and EMA2016 winner -; Alex Ahabwe, EduFInance Manager at Opportunity Bank Uganda Ltd. (Uganda) - another of our partners and EMA2016 finanlists -; and Lynn Pikholz CEO of CapitalPlus which partners with local financial institutions.

Panellists reflected on how the financial inclusion sector’s support for access to quality education has evolved over the past years, sharing with the audience new innovative practices, tools and examples from different markets.
