Vincent KavalaEducation Specialist (Malawi)
Vincent Kavala is an Education Specialist for the EduQuality program in Malawi, coordinating the setting up and implementation of the EduQuality programme in Malawi delivering professional development and strategic planning for affordable private schools.
Prior to joining the Education Finance team, he built extensive expertise across international development, organisational development and education. He served as Project Manager, Disability Inclusion Advisor, and Consultant with the International Labour Organisation, the United Nations Agency for the World of Work. His career also includes roles as Education Programme Coordinator with Plan International, Inclusive Education Project Manager with the Federation of Disability Organisations in Malawi, Programme Manager with DVV International, and Technical Literacy Development Facilitator with World Vision. Before transitioning to the NGO sector, Vincent worked as a teacher of History, Language, and Music at a private school.
Vincent Kavala received his Bachelor of Education in Humanities from the University of Malawi, Certificate in Inclusive Social Protection from the Bonn-Reign-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation Systems from the University of Malawi and is currently completing a Master of Public Administration at UNICAF University. He is a master trainer in Inclusive Education.
