Titus SemagogwaEducation Specialist (Tanzania)

Titus Semagogwa is an Education Specialist with the EduQuality program in Tanzania. He implements the EduQuality program in Morogoro, Tanzania, which significantly improves the quality of education for students from non-state affordable private schools and creates an enabling environment for learning.

Prior to joining the Education Finance team, Titus held various roles in project coordination, including working with Right to Play for three years and Oxfam for one year. Subsequently, he served as the Education Officer at Caritas Kigoma Diocese for two years, where he oversaw operations in refugee camps (Nduta and Nyarugusu) and refugee host communities within the Kigoma Region. His teaching experience has equipped him with a strong background in teachers’ professional development, gender-responsive play-based learning, and community awareness on inclusive education. He has also gained expertise in child protection, referral pathways, literacy and numeracy, school leadership, and data management.

Titus holds a Bachelor of Arts with a specialisation in Education from the University of Dar es Salaam.
