Samuel Fant Kombian is the Deputy Chief of Party & Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning lead (MEL) for USAID/Advancing Partnerships for Improved Learning at Opportunity International EduFinance, based in Ghana.
Samuel leads the co-design and delivery of the monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) agenda and the collaborating, learning, and adapting (CLA) approach of the USAID/Ghana Low-Cost Private Schools Activity in improving learning outcomes and financing options for low-cost private schools in northern Ghana. Samuel Fant also oversees the day-to-day operations, personnel management, reporting, and monitoring, as well as deputizing for the Chief of Party in her absence.
Prior to joining the Education Finance Team, Samuel Fant was the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Advisor of the UKAID-funded Ghana Somubi Dwumadia Program, serving as the strategic lead and day-to-day focal point for all MEL functions. He supported the successful implementation of the USAID Ghana Justice Sector Support (JSS) Activity as the Deputy Chief of Party: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL).
Samuel Fant holds an MSc in Project Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and a BSc in Development Planning from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
