Samuel EcumuEducation Specialist ( Uganda )

Samuel Ecumu is an Education Specialist with the EduQuality program in Uganda. lead the EduQuality programme in Masaka City and Kalungu District, supporting children to access quality basic education in affordable private schools.

Prior to joining the Education Finance Team, I was an Education Programme Officer providing technical guidance to school leaders, teachers and caregivers on basic education core skills for a Catch-Up Club’s Project at Save The Children, Uganda and actively participated in PEAS UGANDA’S Quality Secondary Education Programme in Teso Subregion as an Education Officer. I was also a Mathematics Tutor at Canon Lawrence Primary Teachers’ College, Lira-Uganda.

Samuel holds a Master of Education degree in Science Education (MESE) from Makerere University and a bachelor’s degree (BTE) from Kyambogo University in Teacher Education.
