Sakshi SodhiSenior Technical Assistance Advisor (India)

Sakshi Sodhi is a Financial Inclusion Specialist with over 17 years of experience across Asia and Africa, focused on expanding access to education, skills, and inclusive finance. She is an alumna of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and currently serves as Senior Technical Assistance Advisor at Opportunity International, where she leads strategy, partnerships, and product innovation to scale education and skilling finance for underserved communities. 

She has played a key role in growing Opportunity International’s education finance initiatives in India and replicating successful models across different African countries, expanding partnerships with financial institutions, and mobilizing catalytic capital for impact. Sakshi has also pioneered India’s first Skill Loan product for financial institutions and works closely with government and ecosystem partners to strengthen policy and financing frameworks. 

With a strong background in blended finance, risk analytics, and product design, Sakshi is translating complex financial systems into scalable, human-centered solutions. She brings deep conviction to her work in ensuring that quality education and skills are accessible pathways out of poverty.
