Sagar Jain is a School Finance Accelerator at Opportunity International Edufinance, based in India. He helps affordable private schools access financial solutions that strengthen infrastructure, improve learning conditions, and enable long-term sustainability

Sagar Jain is an education professional with over eight years of experience working across school leadership, teacher development, and large-scale education reform initiatives in India. His work has focused on strengthening school systems, improving teaching practices, and supporting government and private school networks to deliver better learning outcomes.

Prior to his current role, Sagar worked with Peepul as a Senior Project Associate, where he supported large-scale education programs and collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve program delivery and stakeholder engagement. He played a key role in strengthening internal processes, using data to inform decision-making, and ensuring smooth coordination across project teams and partners.

Earlier, Sagar served as an Academic Excellence Manager at Lead School, where he designed and delivered teacher training programs and worked closely with partner schools to strengthen classroom practices and academic leadership. His role involved managing multiple school-improvement initiatives and supporting educators in implementing effective teaching strategies. 
He also worked with Varthana as an Education Specialist, supporting more than 80 schools across India through online education initiatives, teacher certification programs, and education-focused events involving multiple stakeholders across the school ecosystem. 

Sagar holds a Master’s degree in Education from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, a Bachelor of Education from V. K. Tyagi Teacher Training College, and a Bachelor of Science from Government PG College.
