Rotimi is a seasoned banking and finance professional with over two decades of experience in the Nigerian market. He spent twelve years at Zenith Bank, rising to leadership roles where he oversaw banking operations, business development, and branch management. His strategic initiatives resulted in notable improvements in customer growth and branch profitability, contributing to the bank’s overall success.

Before joining Opportunity International, Rotimi served as a Strategy Lead at LA Consult Limited, where he led strategic consulting projects aligned with client objectives. His experience includes advising on high-impact initiatives such as the Enable TAAT project, a collaboration between the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and the African Development Bank to empower African youths in agriculture.

Rotimi holds a Master’s in Treasury Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting & Finance from Bayero University Kano, Nigeria. He is also a Certified Microfinance Practitioner and a full member of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Treasury Management.
