Ronald MwesigwaEducation Specialist (Uganda)

Ronald Mwesigwa is an Education Specialist with the EduQuality program in Uganda.

Prior to joining the EduQuality team, Ronald worked with Building Tomorrow as an Education Support Officer under the Thriving Schools Program, ensuring that schools in the Kibaale district are supported by the community, effectively managed by school leadership, accessible by all children and committed to producing positive learning outcomes. Ronald has taught basic numeracy and literacy in rural schools in Uganda and supported school leaders in rural primary schools in a community fellowship program. Ronald also worked as a Peer Project Coordinator for the Mbarara University of Science and Technology Peer Project. Here, he oversaw the planning and implementation of various youth programs in sexuality, reproductive health, and life skills development.

Ronald holds a Bachelor of Science with Education in Biology and Chemistry from Mbarara University of Science and Technology. He is also pursuing a Post-Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Technology and Management University.
