Richard AdukpohAssistant Education Specialist (Ghana)

Richard Adukpoh is an Assistant Education Specialist at Opportunity International Edufinance, based in Ghana. He has experience in mathematics education, teacher development, educational research, and leadership training. He supports programmes that strengthen teaching and learning outcomes through capacity building, data-driven decision-making, and instructional improvement initiatives.

Before his current role, Richard served as a Mathematics Tutor at the College of Distance Education (CoDE) - University of Cape Coast, where he facilitated mathematics instruction and learner support for distance education students. He also worked as a mathematics teacher at St. Francis of Assisi Schools, teaching upper primary learners and promoting effective mathematics learning strategies.

Richard holds a B.Ed. in Mathematics. He has also completed an MPhil in Mathematics Education, both degrees at the University of Cape Coast, where his MPhil research focuses on trends and predictive analysis of mathematics performance among secondary school students in Ghana using secondary data. He holds a strong interest in educational leadership, data analytics in education, and improving mathematics learning outcomes across diverse contexts.
