Rachel Tabor is an Education Financial Products Manager at Opportunity International EduFinance, based in London, where she leads the Education Financial Products strategy and operations across Africa. Here she oversees initiatives that expand access to affordable, quality education across the continent through technical assistance, blended finance solutions, and end-client capacity-building programs.

Rachel brings over four years of experience in financial services and international development across Africa, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. At Opportunity EduFinance, she has led cross-border teams, overseen the delivery of technical assistance across multiple markets, and structured blended finance mechanisms to unlock capital for low-cost education providers.

Prior to joining Opportunity EduFinance, Rachel worked within the Inclusive Finance Division of Portfolio Guarantees at the European Investment Fund, providing finance and guarantees to Financial Institutions lending to Micro-Enterprises and Social Enterprises across Europe.

Rachel holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of York, with a focus on International Development and inclusive finance, and is a Certified Expert in Digital Financial Services from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
