Rachel TaborTechnical Assistance Associate (UK)

Rachel is an EduFinance Technical Assistance Facility Associate at Opportunity International EduFinance, based in London. Her main focus within the team is driving capital further down market into the affordable education sector in low-and-middle income countries across Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Prior to joining Opportunity EduFinance, Rachel worked within the Inclusive Finance Division of Portfolio Guarantees at the European Investment Fund to provide finance and guarantees to Financial Institutions lending to Micro-Enterprises and Social Enterprises across Europe.  

She also has experience interning for a mobile money Fintech based in Uganda as well as volunteering experience in both Malawi and Tanzania.

Rachel holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of York where she focussed her studies mainly on International Development.
