Rabecca SongoiTechnical Assistance Associate (Kenya)

Rabecca Nasimiyu Songoi is a Technical Assistance Advisor at Opportunity International EduFinance, based in Kenya.  

Prior to joining the Education Finance team, Rabecca was the Regional Coordinator for Akeso Associates strengthening technical and management expertise in global health and development programs through capacity building in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Rwanda. Rabecca was also the Capacity-building Technical Advisor for National STI and Control Program (NASCOP) Kenya, and Partners for Health and Development in Africa (PHDA), overseeing training and knowledge management in Kenya. Rabecca has successfully trained institutions in budgetary, development incorporation of USAID financial policies and regulations, implemented baseline and performance evaluations, and spearheaded dissemination of loans and scholarship services within counties in Intra Health International coast region of Kenya.  

Rabecca has an undergraduate degree in Development Studies from Fairland University Uganda, a postgraduate diploma in Management from DALC Association of Leaders at Cambridge University, and an MBA from Northern Port University.
