Peris KalukiEducation Specialist (Kenya)

Peris Kaluki is an Education Specialist with the EduQuality Program, based in Kenya. She strengthens the quality of affordable private schools by delivering high-impact professional development for school leaders and teacher mentors through the EduQuality programme in Nairobi, Kenya. She supports schools to improve their financial management, teaching, and learning by guiding School Self-Assessments, facilitating Cluster-based collaboration, building mentorship capacity, and driving measurable gains in educational quality and student outcomes.

Before joining Opportunity Edufiance, Peris Coordinated training for government officers, EIDU staff, school leaders and teachers in CBC delivery using structured pedagogy. Developed self-learning toolkits for EIDU staff and government officers, created and reviewed training content, and built field team capacity through monthly capacity building sessions. Designed and implemented monitoring systems to track and enhance the learning impact of EIDU's digital learning programs across Kenyan schools.

She has also worked as a Teacher Training Consultant, designing and delivering large-scale professional development across the ECDE, lower primary, and upper primary levels. She specialised in foundational literacy and numeracy, ICT integration, AI tools for educators, inclusive education, SEL, and community engagement. Developed learning resources, established peer coaching models, and conducted classroom observations to strengthen instructional practice.

Peris served as a Program Lead at Dignitas, overseeing the successful implementation of the Ongoza Education Program, coordinating professional development for school leaders, teachers, and parents in financial management, instructional leadership, engaging teaching strategies, and parental engagement. Led the development of training content and designed assessment tools that improved instructional quality and learning outcomes across participating schools.

Peris holds a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from the University of Nairobi and a Certificate in Curriculum Management from the Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI).
