Alpha Oumar Bah is an Education Financial Products Advisor with more than 20 years of experience in the inclusive finance sector across Africa. He supports financial institutions in designing, adapting, and scaling products and services that expand access to quality education for schools, teachers, parents, and students in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Prior to joining Opportunity Edufiance, Alpha served as Managing Director of a consultancy firm and as a prominent consultant in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the wider region, where he has led numerous projects on governance, microfinance, and business planning. He was also an Education Finance Expert with Opportunity International and IPC, providing technical assistance to microfinance institutions in Bukavu and Goma. Earlier in his career, he worked with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management as a Project Manager for FPM ASBL and as an International Technical Assistant for FPM in Eastern DRC.

Alpha holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Conakry, Guinea, and is a certified trainer with CGAP, ILO, GIZ, and Freedom from Hunger.
