Natalie DavirroMonitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning Team Lead (Kenya)

Natalie is the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) Team Lead for Opportunity International EduFinance and is based in Nairobi, Kenya.

In this role, Natalie is responsible for the execution of the EduFinance learning agenda and will involve management of the Measurement and Evaluation team. This includes leading the development of research products for the USAID funded Education Finance Network, including literature reviews, evidence gap mapping, member needs assessments, MEL frameworks and knowledge products. In addition, Natalie develops learning agendas for USAID Activities, including CATALYZE EduFinance activities in the DRC, Tanzania and LAC, and for the USAID/Ghana Low-Cost Private Schools Activity in northern Ghana. Natalie also supports EduFinance knowledge product development, such as key insights publications.  

Prior to joining Opportunity EduFinance as a core team member in the network, Natalie worked for three years as an M&E Specialist for the U.S. Department of State’s Africa Bureau, where she led on the design and implementation of M&E frameworks and carried out field assessments and project evaluations in East and West Africa.

She also has experience in research, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and reporting for humanitarian relief projects in Jordan and Afghanistan. She recently completed her MSc in Development Management at the London School of Economics, and holds a BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
