Mary Addo-Mensah is a Grants & Program Manager at Opportunity International EduFinance, based in Ghana. She ensures high-impact, donor-funded programs are delivered with excellence to improve education access and outcomes for underserved communities
Prior to joining the Education Finance team, Mary served as a Project Management Specialist at USAID/Ghana for 16 years, where she managed U.S. Government direct assistance to Government of Ghana institutions and local organizations. In this role, she oversaw grant-funded programs that expanded access to quality health services and essential health commodities. Before her tenure at USAID, Mary provided project management support to Ghana’s Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact I Agricultural Commercialization Project, implemented by the Millennium Development Authority. Earlier in her career, she spent 16 years working on a DANIDA-funded rural water and sanitation project in the Volta and Greater Accra Regions, where she supported the management team in delivering water, sanitation and hygiene infrastructure and community development initiatives.
Mary Addo-Mensah holds two Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees, with specializations in Sustainability and Project Management, earned from Nexford University in Washington, D.C., and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), respectively. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Ghana.
