Luis AlbinezEducation Finance Advisor (Peru)

Luis Albinez is an Education Finance Advisor for the Education Finance Products (EFP) team at Opportunity International Edufinance, based in Peru.  He is helping expand access to education for its clients and non-clients by designing and improving financial products.

Before joining Opportunity, Luis worked for Development Alternatives Inc. as Deputy Director of the Financial Inclusion Project (PATMIR) in Mexico; for ACCION INTERNATIONAL as Senior Consultant at Banco Pichincha in Ecuador, Banco ADEMI in the Dominican Republic, and Banco COVELO in Honduras; and for INTERDISZIPLINARE PROJEKT CONSULT (IPC) as Consultant at Banco Pro-Crédito Los Andes in Bolivia and Banco Caja Social in Colombia.

Luis earned an MBA in Strategic Management from CENTRUM Católica in Lima, a Master’s degree in University Research and Teaching, and completed studies in Industrial Engineering at the National University of Trujillo in Peru.
