Joyce AyikoruAssistant Head Education Specialist (Uganda)

Joyce Ayikoru is an Assistant Head Education Specialist with the EduQuality program in Uganda.

Prior to joining the Education Finance team, she was a project manager with Windle International Uganda, which is an implementing partner to UNHCR, a UN agency that supports refugees in Uganda.  She oversaw all educational activities in  ECD, Primary, Secondary, Tertiary education and Scholarship management for refugee children and hosting communities.

She worked with BRAC/MasterCard Scholar’s programme as a coordinator Scholars’ transition and is a trained secondary school teacher. 

She holds a master’s degree in human resource management from Kampala International University, a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Makerere University, a Diploma in Secondary Education from National Teachers College, Muni. She has a certificate in Public Speaking from ZenSpeak Public Speaking School New York.
