Joshua KimeraMonitoring and Evaluation Associate (Uganda)
Joshua Kimera is a Monitoring and Evaluation Associate at Opportunity International EduFinance.
Joshua has worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager at Educate! and an Evaluation Specialist at LIDA Africa where he trained more than 1,000 M&E practitioners, teams and students. He is also a registered member of the Uganda Statistical Society.
Joshua received his first degree in Economics and Statistics, and completed training up to Masters-level in Monitoring and Evaluation. Previously, he worked at The Private Education Development Network (PEDN) as a Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Manager, and later as a Programme Design Manager of the Aflateen PLUS Project.
He has built M&E systems, led and participated in various research and capacity development since 2015 with the following: Educate!, PEDN, USAID’s Youth Leadership in Agriculture, Bank of Uganda, Uganda Bureau of Statistics, Vision Group, LIDA Africa, The WATER TRUST, BRASS AFRICA, UKAID’s Girls’ Education Challenge (GEC\EGE), AfrEA, Office of the Prime Minister Uganda, USAID’s Aflatoun project, the Youth Empowerment Program, Teach a Man to Fish, and UNCDF School Bank Project, among others.
