Herbert Doeh SivormeyAssistant Education Specialist (Ghana)

Herbert Doeh Sivormey is an Assistant Education Specialist at Opportunity International Edufinance, based in Ghana. He supports the implementation of education programmes aimed at improving teaching and learning outcomes, with a focus on strengthening education systems and supporting schools in deprived areas of Ghana to deliver quality, inclusive education.

Before his current role, he was the Headmaster of the Evangelical Church of Ghana School Complex, Tamale, and has contributed to education-focused initiatives that support programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, and the monitoring of learning outcomes. He gained experience working with schools and education partners to improve instructional practices and learning conditions. Herbert's work has also involved supporting project coordination and contributing to research and field activities within the education sector. 

Herbert holds a BEd in Secondary education and related fields from Valley View University, with a focus on teaching, learning, and education development.
