Fred OlokaEducation Specialist (Uganda)

Fred Oloka is an Education Specialist with the EduQuality program in Uganda.

He leads the delivery of professional development courses to school leaders and teacher mentors to support effective management, teaching and learning, as well as supporting effective holistic schools’ development in EduQuality program schools in Greater Masaka. 

Prior to joining the Education Finance team, Fred was a project Coordinator Education with Plan International where he provided technical leadership, management and oversight for NORAD Girls Get Equal education project in primary and secondary schools in West Nile, worked with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) in Karamoja as a Teacher Educator coordinating All Pupils Learning for Ultimate in Life (A-PLUS) project; supporting Teachers and school leaders through trainings, mentorship and coaching for effective learning outcomes. He also served with Promoting Equality in African Schools (PEAS) Uganda as a Regional Education Officer, providing strategic leadership in education quality through supporting PEAS school leadership and teachers in driving better learning outcomes.

Fred holds a Master’s and Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Technology and Management University, a Bachelor of Education obtained from Makerere University, Kampala and a Diploma in Education from the Institute of Teacher Education, Kyambogo.
