Emmanuel MapendoEducation Specialist (DRC)

Emmanuel Mapendo is an Education Specialist with the EduQuality program at Opportunity EduFinance, based in the DRC.

Prior to joining the EduQuality team, Emmanuel worked in several private schools in the cities of Goma and Bukavu as a primary school teacher, including Beroya School, Amani School Complex, La Source Divine School, and Concorde School Complex. Emmanuel also held the position of Principal Director at Renaissance Academy School (primary and kindergarten) in Bukavu, and subsequently served as Deputy Director of Le Miracle School Complex.

Emmanuel holds a State Diploma in General Pedagogy obtained from Saint Charles Borromée College/Nyamokola Institute of Birava, and a Bachelor's Degree in Commercial and Administrative Management Sciences, with a specialization in Human Resources Management from the Higher Institute of Commerce in Bukavu.
