Dr. Jean Paul HarerimanaAfrica Manager, Product Quality and Training (Rwanda)
Dr. Jean Paul Harerimana is responsible for research, assessment, and the development of EduQuality program content across Africa.
He has over 19 years of experience in education. Prior to joining the EduFinance team, Jean Paul, worked as an educational trainer supporting content development and training implementation for school leadership and teacher mentoring programmes at the Flemish Association for Development Cooperation and Technical Assistance (VVOB).
He also served as an independent educational expert for training, content development, and research at Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB) and on various projects funded by UNICEF, Mastercard Foundation, British Council, USAID, and The World Bank. Furthermore, Jean Paul worked as the Head of Education department at Mount Kenya University. He also served as a primary and secondary school teacher in Rwanda.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Management from The Open University of Tanzania, a Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction: Inclusive Classrooms from Concordia University, Portland, USA; and a Masters of Education in Planning, Management and Administration from Mount Kenya University, Kenya. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts with Education in Language Teaching (English and French) and a professional diploma in primary school teaching.
