Charles Olaka KesaEduQuality Manager, Project Management, kenya

Charles Olaka Kesa is an Eduquality Manager (Project Management) at Opportunity International Edufinance, based in Kenya. He leads the Project Management function within the EduQuality program, supporting product development and implementation teams to ensure effective program delivery across Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean.

 Prior to joining the Education Finance team, Charles served as Deputy Director (Programme Development) with the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan and prior to that as a Senior Education Programme Specialist within the same organization between 2019-2024.  

 He also worked as Norad Framework Programme Manager with Save the Children International in Somalia on an integrated programme that focused on Education Programming, Child Rights and Governance. He also worked with the United Nations Children’s Fund ((UNICEF) as an Education Specialist.

 Charles holds a Master of Education Degree (M.Ed) from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Education Degree (B.Ed) from the University of Nairobi  (UoN) both in Kenya.
