Catherine KuvalaEducation Specialist (Kenya)

Catherine Kuvala is an Education Specialist with the EduQuality Program, based in Kenya. 

Prior to joining the Education Finance team, Catherine was a Literacy Coordinator for the 'Foundations for Learning' project at Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa, covering Kenya, Northern Uganda, and Zanzibar. In this role, she designed training programs and prepared Master Facilitators. Previously, she served as an Instructional Coach and Education Officer for the 'Let All Girls Succeed' project at Education Development Trust, where she trained, coached, and mentored school leaders and teachers. Catherine also has extensive experience as a classroom teacher.

She holds an MA in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and a BA in Education from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
