Carolina ReyEducation Financial Products Manager (Latin America)

Carolina Rey is the Education Financial Products Manager for the EduQuality program in Latin America.

Carolina chairs ETAF's strategy, business development, and deployment for Latin America & the Caribbean, ensuring the mobilization of financial institutions and private credit partners through the affordable education ecosystem. 

Prior to joining Opportunity International, Carolina was an Advisory & Project Management Director at the Development Bank of Colombia, gaining profound expertise in structuring infrastructure projects, public-side consulting, technical assistance, private sector participation, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and capital mobilization. Previously, Carolina made a career in the financial sector as a Manager of Wholesale Banking, Financial & Public Sectors for a multinational bank. There, she built her experience managing, structuring, and financing all complex-range and sector transactions.

Carolina has a Master's in Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Netherlands, a Diploma of Management in Public-Private Partnerships from the IE Business School,  Spain, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance & International Relations from Externado University in Colombia.
