Brian Amani Terry is a Community Events & Learning Associate based in Tanzania. Brian leads EduFinance’s community events and learning programs, supporting financial institution partners across Africa, Asia, and Latin America to share insights, strengthen collaboration, and scale innovative solutions for inclusive financial access.
Brian is a passionate development practitioner and youth empowerment specialist with over five years of experience designing and leading programs that drive social impact, economic empowerment, and inclusive growth. He has a proven track record in community engagement, MSME and financial inclusion support, and youth livelihood initiatives, blending creativity with strategic execution to deliver meaningful results.
Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management of Community Development Programs and brings expertise in program management, stakeholder coordination, and communication strategy. Brian’s professional experience spans prominent roles in development organizations, including Opportunity International EduFinance, Raleigh International, Flaviana Matata Foundation, Digital Opportunity Trust, and Restless Development. He has managed multi-country projects, supported local entrepreneurs, led national and regional campaigns, and helped organizations strengthen their brands while connecting with communities in impactful ways.
