Andrea Camacho is a Senior Education Specialist at Opportunity International Education Quality in Colombia

Her work has been orientated to raise new visions of the teaching and learning processes and to develop strategies that generate social fabric, promote critical reflection, the transformation of realities and the progress of communities. Andrea considers education to be the most powerful tool for social development and the transformation of her country.

Andrea has 18 years’ experience as a teacher, educational advisor and coordinator of educational programs promoted by the government of the main city of Colombia, Bogota, where she has worked with 310 educational institutions, both in the urban and rural sectors. Andrea del Pilar Alvarado Camacho holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education Sciences: Mathematics and Physics and a Master's degree in Education.
