Aimy Johny is a School Support Specialist with the EduQuality program, based in Chennai, India. Aimy advocates for an increase in affordable non-state schools in the Chennai region to create holistic school development.

Prior to her current role, Aimy Johny served as a Teaching Fellow at Teach for India, based in Chennai. During her tenure, Aimy played a pivotal role in the education sector by teaching and leading students in both affordable private schools and government schools. She interned with DDUGKY (Youth Skill Development), Nalla Ayalkaran project (financial aid for flood-affected people), and Jal Jeevan Mission (water sanitation) projects during her Master’s degree.

Aimy Johny holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, India, where she specialized in Community Development.
