Abraham ShivachiEducation Specialist (Kenya)

Abraham Musungu Shivachi is an Education Specialist with the EduQuality program, based in Kenya.

Prior to joining the EduFinance team, Abraham served as an Instructional Coach at Women Educational Researchers of Kenya (WERK) in partnership with RTI International, where he trained and coached early years teachers and headteachers in Direct Instructional Method to boost literacy in low-cost private schools. He also worked with World Vision Kenya on the Learning Through Play project, where he trained Curriculum Support Officers/teacher mentors in innovative play-based learning techniques. His role later expanded to Project Coordinator for the ABRAREADS ICT project, where he guided champion teachers in integrating ICT into early years English instruction in World Vision Kenya.

Abraham holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education from the Kenya National Examinations Council and a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Studies (Primary Option) from Mount Kenya University. His expertise lies in enhancing educational practices and improving learning outcomes in early childhood education.
