Peter MatsangaSenior Education Specialist (Uganda)
Peter Matsanga is a Senior Education Specialist with the EduQuality program in Uganda.
Peter has 27 years of teaching experience, leading and managing private secondary schools. He worked as a head teacher for six years at Grace High School, a mixed school in Wakiso District, Uganda. He has also held prestigious roles as an Item Writer and Examiner working with Uganda National Examinations Board, as a textbook evaluator for Ordinary and Advanced level for the with Ministry of Education and Sports as well as a curriculum developer for the National Curriculum Development Centre where he was selected to draft ICT policy in collaboration with UNESCO.
Peter has further experience in management and training, working with Kisubi Associated Writers Agency (KAWA) and Uganda Communication Commission to organize and facilitate tooling and retooling workshops for computer studies/ICT for secondary teachers across Uganda. He also has experience with universities, organising e-learning conferences, and NGOs, such as World Vision Uganda in consultancy and research roles.
Peter specialises in training educators in modern classroom techniques using digital content.
