Dr Innocent MasengoEduQuality, Director, Implementation (Global)

Innocent Masengo is the Director of EduQuality, Implementation (Global) at Opportunity International EduFinance.

Innocent brings with him over 13 years’ experience in education. He began as a teacher in the private sector, teaching Kiswahili and History, and later worked in the public sector as an Education Officer in Nakaseke District. Innocent also has experience in curriculum development with Uganda’s National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) as well as instructional materials development with the NCDC, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) and Makerere University.  

He studied for a bachelor of Arts with Education and a Master’s degree in Linguistics at Makerere University where he became a Lecturer Assistant. He also worked with in-service teacher trainees from Makerere’s College of Education. He also has a PhD in language education.
