Divya BehlHead Office Representative (Asia)

Divya Behl is the head office representative for the education financial products program in Asia. Divya oversees the EduFinance strategy and operations across Asia, driving capital into the affordable non-state education sector.

Divya brings over a decade of experience in education development, with a focus on the role of non-state education actors in expanding access to quality education for low-resource communities. Prior to joining the Education Finance team, Divya was the Program Manager at Global Schools Forum (GSF), responsible for curating and facilitating learning and development opportunities for a community of over 70 non-state education actors across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. In her previous roles, she has worked in education organizations in India and East Africa to grow and strengthen their programs. Furthermore, Divya has first-hand teaching experience from her 2-year Teach For India fellowship at a public school in India.

Divya holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MA in Education from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai).
