Vincent Ohene-NtowCommunity of Practice Coordinator (Ghana)
Vincent Ohene-Ntow is a Community of Practice Coordinator under the USAID/Advancing Partnerships for Improved Learning Activity in Ghana.
The Community of Practice will create a network of stakeholders within the educational sector for idea sharing and learning and subsequently develop an advocacy strategy document to enhance effective collaboration between the government and low-fee private schools in Northern Ghana.
Vincent led the Training Team at SOS Children's Villages, Ghana, overseeing the Boosting Green Employment and Enterprises Opportunities Project funded by the European Union. In this role, he successfully trained over 2000 youth, women, and migrants in employable and entrepreneurial skills for the green local economy. Additionally, he served as a Program Manager for an EU-funded initiative, enhancing the capacity of local authorities to collaborate with the private sector and Civil Society Organizations in policy planning and implementation. Over the past five years, Vincent has been a consultant for Local Government Agencies in Ghana, conducting workshops on project management, revenue and local resource mobilization, social accountability, stakeholder engagement, and decentralization for local-level development.
Vincent holds a Master of Science degree in Development Policy and Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from the University of Ghana Business School.
