Samuel OpokuHead Education Specialist (Ghana)

Samuel Opoku is Head Education Specialist with the EduQuality program in Ghana.

Samuel brings with him over 20 years’ experience in education. He began as a teacher with the Ghana Education Service, has specialized in Maths and Social Studies, and his most recent role, before joining the team, was as Headmaster of Anlogold Ashanti Junior High School in Obuasi, Ghana.

For the past seven years, Samuel has also been part of a team of tutors training and developing basic school teachers at the University of Cape Coast’s College of Distance Education (CODE). Samuel holds an MA in Environmental Management and Policy and a Bachelor of Education from the Institute for Development Studies at the University of Cape Coast.
