Rabia ShafiSchool Leadership Trainer (Pakistan)
Rabia Shafi is a School Leadership Trainer for Pakistan through a collaboration with Opportunity International EduFinance, Kashf Foundation, and Pakistan Microfinance Investment Company contributing to the localization of the program for the Pakistan context.
Rabia has fifteen years of teaching and teacher training experience across Primary and Secondary schools as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) conversation classes.
Starting out as a teacher, Rabia became a Principal at a Roots International School where she introduced the IGCSE qualification. Transitioning to the role of Teacher Trainer, she gained a Professional Award for Teacher Educators and completed the CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
After becoming a British Council Certified Trainer Assessor she took on the roles within the organisation as a Training Consultant for the Punjab Education and English Language Initiative (PEELI) and a Training Consultant Champion, observing fellow consultant trainers and providing developmental feedback.
Rabia has an M.Phil in Applied Linguistics from the University of Management and Technologyandqualified for her CELTA with theInternational House, Thailand. She also holds a Professional Award for Teacher Development from Trinity UK.
