Rabia has been working for almost two decades in Education Sector. Starting out as a teacher, Rabia became a School Head at The City School and then joined as a Principal at The Roots International School where she introduced the IGCSE and A-Level qualifications in Sialkot. Transitioning to the role of Teacher-Trainer, she started providing In-Service Teacher Training (INSETT) and Post Graduate Certificate Course (PGCC) to Teachers in The City School and later joined The British Council as a Training Consultant and started training Government employed Expert Trainers on various skills related to CPD such as understanding learners and their needs, managing lessons etc. under the Punjab Education and English Language Initiative (PEELI) and English for Educating Systems (EES).
After completing her Masters in English Language and M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics, Rabia continued to professionally develop herself and gained a Professional Award for Teacher Educators (PATE) from Trinity College London and completed the CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) with the International House, Thailand . After becoming a British Council Certified Trainer-Assessor she took on the roles within the organization as Training Consultant Champion organizing Annual Conferences and observing fellow trainers and providing developmental feedback.
