Namate SilisheboEducation Specialist (Zambia)

Namate is an Education Specialist with the EduQuality program in Zambia.  

Namate has over 10 years of experience working in education. She has worked as a teacher, teaching IGCE history and working with children and young adults with Special Educational Needs. Namate has also worked in education technology and project management. She managed a portfolio of education projects in Zambia implementing education solution programmes using digital learning content.  

Namate has extensive experience in training and capacity building of teachers in Zambia and many parts of Africa and prior to joining the EduQuality team, Namate was a lead trainer at iSchool Zambia (Mwabu) where she led a team in training and providing capacity building for teachers in modern teaching pedagogies and the use of interactive digital teaching and learning content via low-cost tablet and computer devices.  

She holds a Bachelor of Education degree with a Major in Special Education (B.Ed- Sp) from the University of Zambia, Lusaka- Zambia.
