Leddys ("Mitzi") Machado ArizaEduQuality Coordinator (Colombia)
Mitzi Machado Ariza is the EduQuality Coordinator for Colombia, overseeing the localization of the program for the Colombian context and our team of two Education Specialists.
Mitzi has more than 20 years of experience in the microfinance sector. Her areas of focus have included income generation, savings, micro-insurance, product development, training, expansion strategies and market studies.
She has worked as a consultant in impact evaluation, product development and training for several microfinance organizations in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Peru. She has also worked on a consulting basis for Tear Fund, The Iris Institute of Maryland University, Habitat for Humanity and earned a certification as a consultant for South America from MICROSAVE-AFRICA to deliver their product design and market study services.
Mitzi is a lawyer and has a Masters in Business Administration from the Universidad del Norte de Barranquilla, Colombia. She was a virtual professor for the Diploma in Project Management offered by Tear Fund through the Universidad Seminario Bíblico de Medellín for Latin America partners.
