Glody KimenikaTechnical Assistance Advisor (DRC)
Glody Kimenika is an EduFinance Technical Assistance Advisor in the Democratic Republic of Congo for Opportunity International EduFinance.
Glody is a financial services professional with more than 7 years of experience in the fields of banking, microfinance and in the implementation of technical assistance in the private/public sectors, in the management of investment funds and in risk modeling. He is a certified expert in Microfinance and Agricultural Finance at the Frankfurt School & Management Finance. Glody is experienced in leadership, technical assistance project management, consulting, business development, financial product development, team management and management of relationships with key stakeholders (financial institutions, donors and investors impact).
Since 2016, Glody has been an Assistant Professor in charge of research at the University of Kinshasa. Between 2016 and 2020, he held the positions of Project Manager at Global Consulting, Senior Project Manager at BECON and also Financial Inlusion Advisor at Saphir Consulting and New Consulting DRC ONGD in the field of microfinance and accounting. In mid-2020 he worked with FPM ASBL on an on-demand project in urban and peri-urban areas in the DRC. And in 2023, he set up a product development project with KADEA, an Academy in the DRC.
Glody holds a Master's degree in Finance, Banking and Insurance, and a license in Financial Management from the University of Kinshasa as well as diplomas in Project Management and Human Resources Management, he also has several other certificates to his credit in finance and banking. He was recently admitted to the Frankfurt School & Management Finance expert training program in Green Finance for the 2024 cohort.
