George Dam Laar is a Senior Education Quality Advisor at Opportunity International EduFinance, based in Ghana. George supports the EduQuality team on the USAID/OI Northern Ghana Project for Low-Cost Private Schools.

George Dam Laar has contributed significantly to the education sector in Ghana. Prior to joining the Education Finance team, George worked as a Senior Education Programme Officer at ActionAid International Ghana for 9 years and served as Head of Programmes at the Anglican Diocesan Development and Relief Organisation (ADDRO) for 8 years. George was also an educationist for Ibis/Oxfam in Ghana for 3 years, as well as an Education Lot Manager at SEND Ghana.

George holds an MA in Leadership and Development from the University for Development Studies, Ghana as well as a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana.
